Frequently asked questions
How long do I have to return something?
Request a return within 30 days after delivery, unless the listing states a different period. Contact support with your reference before returning anything, and don't mail a device until instructions are confirmed. Parts / Repair, as-is, clearance, and final-sale items are returnable only when required by law or when the item materially differs from its listing.
Does a used device come with a warranty?
Warranty terms live with the item: the coverage, if any, is stated on the product listing, order confirmation, or repair authorization. Disclosed cosmetic wear and disclosed battery health are not normally covered.
What do the condition grades mean?
Grade A is excellent used condition with minimal visible wear; Grade B has normal cosmetic wear; both are fully functional, cleaned and tested. Grade C has heavy cosmetic wear and is functional except where a fault is listed. Parts / Repair is not fully functional and is sold for parts or repair.
Are your devices certified refurbished?
No. TechVerge sells used devices as used, with a condition grade, a test report, and any known faults listed for the exact unit. Listings are not described as certified refurbished.
Is the device in the listing the exact one I'll get?
A device listed as one-of-one is a single unit with its own asset ID, and the grade, battery health, and test report apply to that unit. Once it sells, its page stays up and shows SOLD.
Can TechVerge unlock or bypass Activation Lock?
No. TechVerge does not offer lock-bypass services. Activation Lock, Find My, FRP, MDM, and passwords must be removed by the owner.
How do sell and trade-in offers work?
An online submission is a request for review. Any estimate is conditional until TechVerge receives and inspects the actual device; if the facts differ, you get a revised offer you can accept or decline. Payment or store credit follows acceptance.
How do I check on a sell, trade-in, or repair request?
Use the Check a request page with the reference from your confirmation email (TV-BUY… or TV-REP…) and the email address you used.
Where is TechVerge, and can I drop a device off?
TechVerge is based in Lansing, Michigan, and publishes no public street address. Local handoff is by arrangement and does not imply a public walk-in location; contact TechVerge before any drop-off.
Can you fix a virus, a slow computer, or a printer or Wi-Fi problem?
Software problems like these are handled remotely by PC Techies (livepctechies.net, 1-800-555-0123): virus and spyware removal, slow computers, printers, routers and Wi-Fi, email, antivirus and other software. It is independent support, not affiliated with the brands it supports, and if a problem can't be fixed you don't pay. Hardware faults can't be fixed remotely; for those, request a TechVerge repair assessment.
How do I contact TechVerge?
Call 1-800-555-0123 or email support@techverge.net, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time. Don't email passwords or full card details.
